| It was on this day 60 years ago that Margaet May Edwards was born in Liverpool Maternity hospital, apparently in the middle of a German bombing raid. Father John Henry Houlgreave Mother May Brother Kenneth John about 2years older Address Belmore street Garston Liverpool She went to Primary school Bowden Road Garston Secondary Aigburth Vale Grammar for young Ladies She then proceded into the wide world of work 1st. Job Office Girl Kraft Foods in Kirkby 2nd Job Student Nurse – Royal Liverpool Hospitals Trained at Myrtle St Liverpool and Heswall on the Wirral Graduated as RSCN Registered Sick Childrens Nurse and became Staff Nurse on 0A1st House 61 Lawton Rd Huyton Children Sian in August 1966 Andrew in March 1968 both born at the same hospital as Maggie. She did also do a bit of travelling 1st Plane trip to Sydney Australia June 1972,lived in Dee Why and later in Camden. January 1980 they left Australia and came to live in 54 Anthony Drive ,from there they moved to 10 Backhall Street and that is where I come into the story. After that Dewi moved to China to work, Maggie spent some holiday time there also. Now they live in a quite little village called Cairo, in Egypt, where Dewi now works! And that is the story (Shortend of course)of Margaret May Edwards. |
